Dear Parents,

As we begin the summer break, we encourage you to make this a joyful season of learning, exploration, and family bonding. At Tah Takuchi ECD, we believe that children learn best through play, meaningful experiences, and positive interactions with their loved ones.

Summer Learning and Exploration

We kindly request you to support your child in completing the Summer Learning Pack at their own pace. The activities are designed to help children continue exploring, learning, and growing while achieving the developmental milestones planned for the summer period.

Learn Together

Encourage siblings and family members to learn together, share experiences, and help one another with care, kindness, and respect. Learning becomes more meaningful when children collaborate, communicate, and enjoy activities together.

Work on Loose Sheets

All written, drawing, coloring, matching, or creative tasks may be completed neatly on loose sheets (A4 paper, colored paper, or lined sheets). Please keep all completed work safely in a single folder so that it can be submitted when Tah Takuchi ECD reopens after the summer break.

Fun Video Activities

Some activities may involve reading aloud, storytelling, counting objects, singing rhymes, creative play, or hands-on learning experiences. We encourage you to record short videos of your child participating in these activities and share them in the parents' WhatsApp group. These videos help us celebrate children's learning journeys and stay connected during the holidays.

Play, Explore, Learn, and Grow

Please remember that the main goal of the Summer Learning Pack is not to complete worksheets but to encourage lifelong learning through play, exploration, creativity, and family engagement. Enjoy everyday learning opportunities through conversations, outdoor play, reading, nature walks, art, music, and simple household activities.

A Gentle Reminder

Allow your child to work independently as much as possible. Appreciate their efforts, encourage curiosity, and celebrate progress rather than perfection.
