 Job Title: Assistant Caring and Learning Facilitator

Supervisor: Lead Caring and Learning Facilitator 

Nature of Job:  Part Time Contractual 

Duty hours:  6 hours-Morning Shift

Job Summary: 

The Assistant Caring and Learning Facilitator assists Learning Facilitator and play a supportive role in the learning programs of children enrolled at Tah Takuchi Center for Lifelong Learning and Child Development. She will responsible to assist in the day-to-day caring and learning activities of children as per the milestones of children. She will report to the Lead Facilitator Learning & Caring.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

Rollout the following activities efficiently and effectively;

1. Comprehend the Tah Takuchi ECD Curriculum and SOPs and take part in the review process.

2. Assist to plan, carry out, and evaluate the learning activities for children. 

3. Plan and execute motor and gross motor skills activities for children independently.

4. Organize space, equipment, and caring-learning material in the learning rooms.

5. Make sure the cleanliness, neatness, display, and proper use of learning resources including activity material, books, markers, and other stationery items. Engage supporting staff where necessary.

6. Supervise the supporting staff and make sure sleeping, feeding and diaper changing, pop and other services are according to the approved schedule of respective groups. 

7. Maintain accurate and updated records of children and stocks as per SOPs.

8. Assist to plan and carry out the parents’ dialogs, meetings and share the learning progress and plans of their children under the direction of the supervisor.

9. Participate in short and long-term planning, evaluation and reporting of the center.

10. Immediately address the behavioral problems of children without labeling them.

11. Understand all the services offered by Tah Takuchi

12. Play role as an ambassador of the center within the community and family circles.

Qualifications 

· Diploma in Early Childhood Education

· Graduate degree in social sciences preferably in psychology 

· Willingness to work flexible hours
