During the 7th month of my pregnancy, I was hospitalized and I was kept in ICU due to very high blood pressure. Till the 3rd trimester, my blood pressure was normal but my feet were swollen and I didn’t know why…
…during the monthly visits to my consultant, I reminded her many times about my swollen face and feet but she used to say,” it happens during pregnancy”. These swollen feet and face were ignored and I was hospitalized. I was high-dosed through insulin infusion. While I was in physical pain, I was also suffering emotionally as my 4 years old daughter was alone at home. This made me hopeless and left me in tears.
During the 10 days at the hospital, I saw more than 50 premature births and miscarriages around me in the ward. I talked to the mothers about their cases and found out they were unaware of the physical and emotional issues that come with pregnancy and childbirth. They didn’t know and the doctors had no time to discuss their issues in detail.
Doctors usually spend 5 to 7 minutes on each visit for diagnosis and recommending treatments. Mothers, who got their babies had another problem of taking care of babies at home as most of them were professionals.
As a working mother, I realized their problems of caring & learning for children till joining formal schools. Even after school, these kids suffer and cannot reach their best potential. Some mothers told me “they have no choice but to leave their careers and take care of babies with no/limited childhood caring and learning knowledge”
I intend to solve these problems by providing caring & learning services including necessary nutrition for children and mothers. I also build the capacity of young women in early childhood development.
After a detailed study, I have established Tah Takuchi ECD Services to provide caring, learning and training services to children, women, and families. We actively engage young minds to shape their future by themselves and play an active role in the socio-economic development of their families, communities, and Pakistan.

· Actively involve families and community members in the development process to strengthen support networks and enhance the overall learning experience for children.

· Implement effective assessment tools and methods to regularly evaluate and track each child’s developmental progress and the effectiveness of the educational programs.

Since our inception, we have remained dedicated to providing high-quality, safe, secure and responsive nurturing care and learning services for children, while promoting healthy lifestyles within the families and communities we serve. At Tah Takuchi, we actively engage parents and communities in the caring and learning of their children through variety of lifelong learning events, projects and program. Our services include;
1. Nurturing care and learning Program
This Program is designed to support the holistic development of children from birth to eight years of age. It aims to lay the strong developmental foundations, foster a love for lifelong learning, and support the overall wellbeing of every child. This program grounded in scientific research and aligned with national and international early childhood development (ECD) standards and best practices. The program is divided into key stages
· Prenatal to Infancy (0–2 years)
· Early Childhood (3–6 years)
· School Readiness (5–6+ years)
2. Nurturing care and learning skills / Training Program
This Program at is designed to empower women, caregivers, families and early childhood educators with contemporary knowledge and practical skills to support the holistic development of young children during the most critical years of life — from birth to age six. Major themes of training:

At Tah Takuchi ECD, we actively involve parents and grandparents in the caregiving and learning of their children through various events and activities. Hundreds of families benefited from our well-equipped Lifelong Learning Center that provides relevant resources and full-time nurturing care. Our experienced management team consistently supervises caregiving and learning services aligned with the ECD Curriculum and standards. Our learning facilitators are highly qualified and trained by the Aga Khan University-IED.
